In this log I want to share our officially stated vision, mission, and purpose — and bring to your attention why this is something that uniquely fits me as the leader of COE. It’s important to invest your time and energy into a leader who knows himself and is operating in the right space for their natural talents and capabilities.
By the end of this log, you will be convinced that I am the person uniquely qualified to run COE — and should continue to do so until I draw my last breath.
Our Fundamentals
A world where finding your purpose is as universal as learning to read.
To help people find their purpose, get dangerous at it, and give that knowledge away — starting with the teenagers the system forgot to look out for.
Close the gap between a life of direction and a life of drift. The distance between those two outcomes is almost always one person and one system arriving at the right time. We are that person. We are that system.
Harmonize humanity — through education, love, and kindness.
Why Me, Why This, Why Now, Why At All
Why Me
I lived both sides. The kid with someone, and the kid with no one. I lost my faith, my identity, and my brother. I rebuilt from zero, codified the path that saved me, and turned it into a system anyone can walk. Nobody else in this space carries this story and this methodology in the same body. The credential is not a degree. The credential is a brother-shaped hole in a family and an organization that grew in its exact dimensions.
Why This
Every other approach either tells people what to become or leaves them alone with a journal. Career counseling serves the economy. Therapy serves the wound. Neither serves the fire. The 7 Teachings serve the fire. They’re the first methodology designed to produce the moment of self-recognition reliably, and to capture proof that it happened. That approach doesn’t exist at scale anywhere else.
Why Now
The crisis is here and accelerating. Teen purposelessness, anxiety, and suicide are at historic highs. Meanwhile, NFC technology, mobile-first learning, and AI-assisted delivery make it possible for the first time to reach teenagers at scale without requiring a classroom. The infrastructure that needed to exist yesterday — we’re building today.
Why At All
Because Tolik didn’t have it. Because I almost didn’t survive without it. Because right now, somewhere, a teenager with everything inside them and nothing around them is making a decision about whether any of this is worth it. And the answer to that question should never depend on the accident of who happens to show up.
